If you’re like me at all, you have a huge problem throwing away and piece of fabric larger than a 3 inch square. It’s totally true. You never know when you might need it. Am I right? Well, I have a slew of them, in a basket, and inspiration struck one day and I made these Fabric Scrap Bookmarks. I may have gone overboard, but I still have scraps left, so maybe not. I love that these bookmarks are so easy to make, plus you can customize them by just using different fabric. Nice, right?
Before I go on, I want to remind you about the Paper Pumpkin giveaway that is open until May 15th. It’s a super fun craft kit and there are lots of options and ideas on what to do with the kit. You can enter that giveaway HERE.
Maybe I should tell you want The Paper Pumpkin is really quick. The Paper Pumpkin is a month subscription were a box of awesome craft supplies show up at your door, with everything you need to complete whatever is in the box. Sometimes you make crafts, like this wreath, and sometimes you make greeting cards. It’s great to have those on hand. Sometimes birthdays and anniversaries sneak up on you. If you’re interest is peaked, you can visit their website to learn more.
Now to the instructions for the bookmarks. I write them for my contributor post and you can get the instructions by visiting Busy Mom’s Helper for the Fabric Scrap Bookmarks. I love to give books as gifts, so this will be a great thing to add to the books in the future, along with a chocolate bar of some sort because everyone needs a little chocolate in their life.
What do you do with your fabric scraps? Let me know in the comments please because I have more scraps. Please let me know I’m not alone.
