My dear friend, Shalene, was married this past weekend. To say she was excited is a huge understatement. She made a beautiful bride too. I wanted to get her something special to add to her gift, so I had some personalized figures made of her and her groom, Jonny. I wanted a nice box for them, so I made this box, which is the perfect size. For this post, I will be showing you a Wedding Gift Box and a Giveaway, plus a card I made as well. It’s all fairly simple, but they turned out lovely. Read through this post and then enter the giveaway at the bottom.
The box started as this simple brown box that I bought at a craft store. The figures fit perfectly in the box.
I painted the box and lid white, but only on the outside. It took two coats of acrylic paint to get good coverage.
I used these two stamp sets, “You Plus Me” and “For the New Two” that I received from Stampin’ Up. I love all of the stamp sets at Stampin’ Up. There are so many choices for any occasion you may need. I also used the “Brights Stampin’ Write Markers” to color in the flowers. They have really nice colors and a lot of choices for markers at the Stampin’ Up website.
These are the little figures I had made. They look so much like Shalene and Jonny and I just love them. I ordered them from Little Things Happy on Etsy. Aren’t they cute? They also came with a personalized bag, but the photo I took was too blurry and I didn’t want to bother the bride and groom. They are honeymooning you know.
I promised you a giveaway and here it is. The Paper Pumpkin, which is a division of Stampin’ Up, is having a sale of 50% off your first two months boxes. I love The Paper Pumpkin. I love getting boxes from them each month. So fun. To celebrate, they are giving one lucky reader the June and July box. I talked about this a little last week, but I wanted to tell you about it again so you can enter if you haven’t yet. So, keep scrolling and enter on the Rafflecopter below.
