Hello! Welcome to Fearlessly Creative Mammas:
Fearlessly Creative Mammas was created by my best friend in the whole world Kathleen. As you know from inviting her into your homes for the last 4 years she is the most talented and fabulous human alive. When my journey first started, writing for Kathleen about a year ago, I came on sort of begrudgingly. Because the “mommy blogging” thing was foreign to me. When I was younger I loved creative writing and it sort of swayed me into really loving blogging. I was bit by the blogging bug and wanted to do more.
But as life changes and new adventures happen Fearlessly Creative Mammas was going to possibly come to an end. From the moment Kathleen told me she was moving on to a new project I was devastated. I stewed over asking her if I could take over and finally I did. So here we are today.
FCM has evolved from the beginning several times and it will probably continue to do so. Hopefully, I can begin to somewhat fill Kathleen’s Creative Mamma shoes. They are overwhelmingly big. Fortunately for all of us blog readers out there Kathleen continues to write about her traveling adventures. She can be found over on what I like to call our “sister site” Pebble Pirouette.

About Creative Mamma Candice:
Now to introduce myself. Candice here an Idaho native who is romanced by Texas and living the dream with my Boyfriend/Husband Jaimo. And as a mommy of 3 small kiddos there is always the longing for me to be creative and successful. Honestly, that is such a difficult task as a mother. Fearlessly Creative Mammas has unfolded into this amazing opportunity for me to share with you, “grown-ups,” all the creative mess up in my head. Since my hats are many I will share many things with you pertaining to being a Mom and living like a Boss Mom. I have been so blessed by this mommy blogging journey.
For the LOVE of Food:
Food is my soul. No really. I am completely obsessed with food, food culture, ingredients, and eating in general. Coming from a German and Philippina heritage I have been exposed to quite a range of cultural food. My Lola Mary (grandmother) fed everybody and anybody. If you went to her home you were going to be fed. Consequently, some of my earliest memories were sitting at my Lola’s table eating fish stew and salty shrimp with green mango. Then as a younger soul I began cooking for myself and discovered a world of possibilities. So my history with food creation has been vast from Veganism, Vegetarian, whole foods, Asian, traditional German, and trending food ideas. Be prepared for recipes and food posts of every kind, I don’t discriminate against ANY food. Experiencing food and how it represents cultures fascinates me.
Creating my Whimsy:
Being born into a creative family wears off on you. As a result of both of my parents being artists it sort of followed me my whole life. When my family is together we are always talking about creating something. From making forts as kids to building and designing timber frames and tiny houses on wheels as a grown ups. To watercolors and ceramics in my youth to making home decor and up-cycled diy’s as a Momma. My life is spent constantly creating my whimsy, finding objects and figuring out how to design and project my ideas. Most of all through this journey I hope you follow along and will be inspired to make your own creations!
