Hello! Welcome to Fearlessly Creative Mammas. Fearlessly Creative Mammas was started with mother (Kathleen) and daughter (Samantha) because we were always sending each other pictures or calling each other to tell about what fun or tasty things we had made. We thought, why not create a blog and show our family members across the country, and Fearlessly Creative Mammas was born in April of 2013.
Fearlessly Creative Mammas has undergone some changes since then. Samantha stopped blogging and my (Kathleen) sister (Heather) stepped in. Alas, she too has stopped blogging and now it is me on my own, with some occasional posts by my oh so creative friends.
FCM has evolved a little bit, in that now more than just the family is following along. Imagine that! So fun. My goal is to do something creative every day and to hopefully inspire some creativity in someone else. From my house to yours, welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
A little about me, in case you’re interested.
As I said, I’m Kathleen and I’m not telling you how old I am. I have been blogging since the beginning of 2012, but the first 15 months or so was on my blog Pebble Pirouette, which relates our travel adventures. I really love the blogging I do here at Fearlessly Creative Mammas. It’s nice to have a creative outlet and a reason to create and craft!

I live in southeast Idaho with my husband, Nick. I hate the cold though, so if I can escape someplace warm in the winter, I’m all for that! Our three kids are all grown, but live in the same area and we have the three grandkids, which are a kick in the pants for sure. I have lived all over the world, both in my childhood and with my family, so if I sit still too long I get seriously restless. It’s handy for me that my husband still travels some for work so that I can go with him sometimes. My favorite places are Estonia, Belize (in the winter) and Alaska (in the summer) and I would love to live in some combination of those places in my older years.

I used to work outside of the home but quit my job in 2012 so we could live in China for a year. It was a great experience and I’m glad for the opportunity and the wonderful friends we made. Now that I don’t work outside of the home, I often wonder how I ever got anything done when I did. I seem to be super busy all the time. Besides cooking and crafting, my passions are my family, photography, travel and reading. I have also taken up archery in the last few years and that is a lot of fun too.
