Creating Handmade Holiday Cards with Soul
Handmade Christmas Cards are the best! If you read my last post, you might be able to tell I am not crazy about greeting cards. Unless the whole card is filled up with handwriting! I don’t know why, I just have always been that way. It is the best thing to me to receive even a scratch piece of paper quickly scribbled on with a note asking how things are going. Or with something a family member has sent. Even just a sheet of lined notebook paper filled with how a close friend or relative’s life is going. I definitely prefer those over the cheap bulk cards (or even expensive bulk cards) we often receive at Christmas. You know the ones with the same two lines on each card. When I give those store cards out, I make sure to get blank ones that I can fill out myself with a thoughtful greeting. But way better than that, I love to give out handmade holiday cards!
Paper Pumpkin Kit: Making Holiday Cards Quick and Charming
I would often spend forever pintrest-ing the cutest card fronts, and am overwhelmed by the amount I like and then don’t have all I need to make them as amazing as the picture. Am I the only one who spends way more time looking on Pintrest for ideas than executing those ideas? lol!!! I could spend a ton of time creating my own, but…….. insert drumroll here……. Paper Pumpkin has the cutest ones already and so simple and fast to put together! They did the hardest part for me, coming up with something awesome.
Curated Holiday Cards
The Christmas cards Paper Pumpkins designed for this month were too cute, I just couldn’t bring myself to change them and make something else with the kit!! They were also easy to follow, I loved them!! They are super cute Christmas Cards, they have a raised textured front with a shaker ornament. There was 5 of each ornament and ten coordinating cards. The ornament has sequins that shake like snow, and even more I love the rustic background and pine branches and trees!! So perfect together!
The nicest thing was my son was occupied and had a blast playing with the extra parts and leftovers to use his imagination to make something. And we got to do our “crafts” together while he tells me hilarious 4 year old things 😉 Kids are the funniest! Happy Holidays and we hope you have an entertaining and creative season!
