What kind of shopper are you? Do you shop through the year? Do you do it all on Black Friday? Are you still trying to figure it all out, with ten days to go? Have no fear, I have this handy Last Minute Gift Guide for you today, to help with your shopping needs.
The great thing about this gift guide is that you don’t even have to go out in the chaos to buy the gifts! I hate crowds, so this is a huge plus for me. In full disclosure here, I have received a few of these items to review and some of them have affiliate links. Having said that, I’m only adding things here that I love and if it’s an affiliate link, it does not change your price at all. Also, and this is important, all of these items can be received in time for Christmas, either digitally or in the mail. Whoo Hoo. Okay, let’s get started.
RawSpiceBar subscription – We really love Raw Spice Bar here at Fearlessly Creative Mammas. There is so much to love about it. It shows up at your door every month. The spices are high, high quality raw spices. It isn’t an expensive subscription. It’s a surprise each month. So many great things. If you have a cook or chef on your list, this is a perfect gift and you don’t even have to leave your sofa. Each kit has a theme from around the world and you receive 3 spices and some recipes to try. You can sign them up for a 1, 6 or 12 month kit and they will love you for it! Really. (Use the code Flavor6 to get $5 off a 6 or 12 month subscription)
Silicone Baking Cups – If you haven’t tried these, you should. I do not like most paper liners. They usually pull party of your muffin or cupcake off when you take them off. I love my silicone baking cups because nothing sticks to them. Plus, you buy them one time and you don’t have to buy them again. Love them so much. These make the perfect gift for anyone who likes or just does cook.
Organizing Your Lifestyle by Jane Stoller – If you or someone on your list is trying to live a simple life or you travel frequently, like me, this is the book you want to get. This book will help organize every aspect of your home, as well as your travels. Being organized will help reduce stress. We all need that. This book will teach you not only the hows of organization, but the whys, so you want to maintain over time. (I think I need to share this with my daughter.) Organizing Your Lifestyle gets into the nitty gritty of organizing every room in your house, all the way to the junk drawer. It is an easy read as well, so you won’t be bored.
LDS Temple Shadowboxes – These shadow boxes are really pretty and perfect for someone preparing to enter the temple for the first time or a newly married couple. They have a variety of designs and can even customize your order.
LDS Temple Cards – If you’re trying to learn about all the LDS temples or if you have a goal to visit as many of them as possible, this is a fantastic resource. This tin has 75 of the temples in the United States included, with beautiful photos and information about each temple. It would also make a great baptismal gift.
Let’s Color Together: A Shareable Coloring Book for Parents and Kids – I love the assortment of adult coloring books that are out right now and they make great gift ideas for sure. The difference between Let’s Color Together and the others is that this one has something for everyone. The parent/caretaker and child can spend time together, coloring similar pictures. I think this will also serve as a great time for the parent and child to have meaningful discussions, as they spend time creating their art pieces. Love this book!
Love With Food subscription – I love this company. They send a monthly box, full of junk-free snacks, right to your door. They have 2 sizes of boxes, but I like the deluxe best. They also have a gluten free option. This is the perfect gift for the snackers on your list and really great for kids who are away from home. A bonus with this company is that for every box ordered, a meal is donated to a food bank around the country, over 1,009,000 meals so far! Isn’t that wonderful?!
Kindle Fire – Okay, I know this one is a little more expensive, but it’s so worth it. The reason I bought my first Kindle was because I travel so much that it made it easier to always have an assortment of books with me. Yes, you buy the books from Amazon, so it’s a great deal for them. However, did you know that there are loads and loads of free books offered? Cookbooks, classics, reference, fiction and even The Bible. Really. It makes it super easy to buy a new book when you want one and it’s an easy way to give a book to someone. The Kindle Fire also has internet capabilities, so it’s a tablet too. My sister and I gave one to our mom for her birthday and she loves it!
Working on our marriages all the time is key to keeping them healthy and happy. These next two items, from the Dating Divas, are perfect to help you keep your dating life fun and active. Both very important in my book.
A Year of Dates: Around the World Dates – I love this kit because the dates are planned out for you, including printables, to take you around the world throughout the year. This is a perfect gift for your spouse or another couple. You can give it electronically or even better, print it all out for them and give it already put together. I wrote about this kit in detail HERE.
52 Dates for Two – This is a great gift for couples who are just busy. A date a week, all planned out for them, with printables. Seriously, so easy. Any couple would love to receive this kit. Dating is so important to a marriage and any way it can be promoted is a plus in my book. Again, you can give this electronically or print it all out and put it together for them.
Okay, that’s my Last Minute Gift Guide. I hope it sparks an interest somewhere and helps you out. Whatever you decide, have a safe and Merry Christmas.
