Recently I was asked to watch and review a new Christmas movie that came out yesterday, called The Christmas Project. I decided to include a list of Eleven Favorite Christmas Movies in our family. I’m kind of a sucker for Christmas movies, so I was happy to review this new one.
After you read my review and see what our favorite Christmas movies are (linked with affiliate links), keep scrolling to the bottom for a great giveaway, an Amazon gift card and a copy of this movie for your very own.
You never really know what you’re going to get with Christmas movies. Some of them can be pretty cheesy. The Christmas Project kind of had the feel of one of my all time favorites, The Christmas Story, although the story itself is completely different.
The story follow the Buckley family. A family with four boys and one more baby on the way. They select a family to ‘elf’ every year and this year is no different. Their family this year is the Hagbarts and they are the meanest bullies in the school. What’s a bunch of boys to do? Watch the movie to see how it all plays out. There are also some other small stories throughout the movie, so you can see how they live day to day.
I really enjoyed this movie and the message it puts forth. I liked it enough to include it in with my favorite Christmas movies and we also be getting a few of these as gifts. I love the idea of elfing a family at Christmastime. What an excellent message for your kids. You can follow The Christmas Project on FACEBOOK or INSTAGRAM. It’s worth watching for sure. Your whole family will love it.
When I compiled my list of favorite Christmas movies, I went to my kids for their favorites too. They all came back with the same ones. It’s kind of funny because they are all so different.
