3 Cheese Sausage Dip
It’s the final weekend of summer in the United States and lots of people will be having the last barbecue of the season. I’m excited to participate and share this 3 Cheese Sausage Dip with you. When you have your barbecues, you need some awesome sides, appetizers and desserts to go with them. Wayfair came up with a fun group of posts for you today to celebrate the last summer barbecue called BBQ Bites. This dip pretty fantastic tasting and great to go along with your barbecue.
Let me tell you a little bit about this dip and where I bought the cheese. I’ve made this before and it always turns out nice and creamy. Well, this time I bought the cheese in the supermarket here in Martinique and well, the cheese didn’t melt the same way. It was really odd. I made it twice, but it didn’t matter, it turned out the same both times. It still tastes amazing though.
A few tips when you’re cooking this dip. As you cook the sausage, be sure to crumble it really well. When your sausage is cooked, drain it in a bowl on some paper towels to absorb most of the grease. After you have the dip all together, if you have some grease on top, use a different paper towel to absorb some the grease. If you just hold the corner of the paper towel on the area where the grease is, the grease will just wick into the towel.
Usually you think of tortilla chips when you have cheese dip. At least I do. I had this with broccoli and slices of baguette from the local bakery too. It was great with all three. I think I liked it with the bread the best though.
If you need some great barbecue tools, Wayfair has some really ones. It’s also really fun to serve on a beautiful bright color plate. This one is a favorite, also from Wayfair. I think being on this island has made me really, really love bright colors.
