Our lives are so busy and crazy these days, don’t you think? There are so many things pulling us in different directions, from family obligations, to jobs, to community and church obligations and the list can go on and on. Even decorating for holidays can be overwhelming and incredibly time consuming. I have a project to show you to help you take some of stress out of your decorating or if you really love that sort of thing, something to add to your decorations. Today I am sharing a project kit from Stampin’ Up called Enjoy the Little Things and it has something for everyone. Just so you don’t miss it, this month’s Paper Pumpkin box giveaway is also at the end of this post. Plus, I have a secret to share with you.
Before we get to this project kit, here is the secret I am sharing with you. It’s one I have had for about 6 weeks and I’m bursting to share it with you. My husband and I are moving! We are moving a long way away too. It is a nineish month long job in Martinique, which is a little island in the Southern Caribbean. They have no winter, so you know I am so excited!
Let me tell you a little about Martinique, in case you haven’t heard of it before. It is an island about 200 miles from Venezuela that is 43 miles long and 19 miles wide at it longest and widest points. Since it is an island nation, it has beaches, which will be amazing. This is one of the beaches right in the capital of Port de France. The population is 386,000. The temperature ranges in the 80’s during the day and the 70’s at night, ALL YEAR!! Martinique is actually a French Territory, so they speak French there. See why I am excited?! I need to learn some French though.
The blue arrow is where we will be living. I’m hoping for a great place on the beach, but really, I won’t be too picky. It won’t take long to get to a beach, no matter where we live.
Since we will be traveling with suitcases and not with moving boxes and household items, I am having to be picky about the things I take with me. I got this great project kit from Stampin’ Up and put it together. I will be taking it with me for sure. It has a little something for every holiday or event.
Aren’t they all fun? All of the items you need to complete the kit, besides the stamp set and stamp pad, are included in the kit. It also comes with a chalkboard easel to hang your pictures on. Also, the words are in different languages so if you don’t want English, you can pick one of the others. Since I speak English, that is the language I picked. Below are the links to the items you will need for this kit. Isn’t it a great kit?
