Thanks tons to Stampin’ Up for providing these super awesome supplies for my cards. As always, all opinions, photos and text are 100% my own.
We have loads of stuff coming up around here. Right now I have three graduation announcements and two wedding announcements sitting on my counter. Plus, there are some birthdays coming up too. I need cards, in a BIG way. The other night I decided to dig out a couple of my Stampin’ Up stamp sets (I’m still unpacking) and make some cards for the occasions. Here are my versions of Springtime Cards. My card making abilities are pretty basic at this point, but I’m working on improving them.
There is a great giveaway at the end of this post from Stampin’ Up/Paper Pumpkin plus a super awesome promotion, so be sure to read all the way to the bottom of this post.
I have this really awesome stamp called Vivid Vases that I love so much. I decided to use that on the front two of the cards and then I got out my colored pencils and colored them up. They look so springy and colorful, don’t you think?
The other set I used is the Celebrate Today set for the birthday balloons and the words inside the card.
Stampin’ Up also has these great Color Box Chalk stamp pads that come in a variety of colors. I used them for the words inside. Now, as I said before, I’m not a very advanced card maker or stamper, so the words aren’t awesomely stamped, but the sentiment is there just the same. These are a graduation card and a birthday card.
