I was first introduced to these green beans at a Christmas party a few years ago. I have made them several times since then trying to recreate them and I’ve got them pretty close. These are so yummy and easy. With Easter coming up they would be the perfect side dish to bring to your family dinner!
I first start by mixing together, in my crock pot, red onion, green beans, and craisins. Then I pour my brown sugar on top, then the water and vinegar.
Cook for a few hours, stirring occasionally.
Voila! The perfect side dish that no one else will bring! You will be a hit at your next family get together!

This is Kathleen for a minute and those beans sound yummy! I want to introduce you to our next giveaway contributor. Her name is Ashley and she is a great friend of mine. Our husbands work together and we’ve known each other for a few years. She is a super lady and an amazing mom. She is also an amazing cook. Remember the tamales from way back in July? Ashley is the lady who taught me how to make them. They are amazing. Really.
When I asked her if she wanted to participate today, she was all over it and she was so generous too. She is giving one lucky reader a Scentsy warmer of their choice valued at $30 or less AND three Scenty Bars of the winner’s choice as well. Ashley’s website address is http://ashree.scentsy.us.
Thank you so much Ashley. Love you girl!
