After I measured the fabric, I folded it in half, right sides together and sewed up the long side and one of the short sides. Then I turned it right side out.
Since it is so long, I used a yardstick to get the fiberfill in place. (Pay no attention to the Charmin in the background.) Make sure that you get the fiberfill all the way to the bottom and into the corners.
Alternate between the fiberfill and the beans. I used one big bag of beans. (See, there is my Tide too. I must have just gone to the store.)
After the draft stopper is filled, fold the ends inwards and pin it closed. Then sew it to keep it closed.
Put it in place and now you can keep the drafts out of your house!! So quick and easy! Are you looking forward to Winter? What is your favorite thing about it?
